Stochastic Tapes is proud to unveil 'Anomalous Allies', The first collaborative compilation on the label since its inception in 2020. The 12 track cassette features an eclectic collection of sounds from disparate experimental electronic artists. The release meanders through a variety of forms and styles that evoke the senses and uncover new sonic territories along the way.

The opening track from Niles Fromm is an ambient piece originally composed to accompany his 'Skybox' ambient table lamp. (Link below)
From there you dive straight into Austin heavy hitter Scares with some brilliant beat offerings. This theme of contrast continues throughout the collection. From swirling ambient to experimental percussion, the unanchored melding of approach is refreshing. We invited artists from East to West coast and beyond to integrate and become 'Anomalous Allies' in the process.
